Hi Johnny-saw you on the Caribbean Princess on Christmas night of 2008. Quite enjoyed the performance and how you got the audience into a dance off. You have a beautiful voice. Although I'm only 25 and was too young to remember the Drifters, I certainly know all of the songs that you sang that night. May the Lord bless you in 2009!! XOXO. "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah!"

Johnny, I just heard the very sad news that Levi Stubbs just passed away. The first thing I thought of when I heard the news was watching you do your T&T routine on the Sovereign of the Seas two years ago. Motown and America has lost a great talent today. You are truly a great entertainer, and we hope to see you on the Monarch next year when my H.S. Class has it's reunion. I've told many of friends back home in NYC all about you and the incredible show you provide! Maybe we'll bump into each other in Winter Park sometime before then. All the best, Perry Norflus

Hey Johnny, You won't remember me, but I was the guy from Winter Park who while on the Sovereign two years ago, offered to give you a ride home back to Winter Park when you made the announcement to the audience that your Land Rover broke down on the way to the ship for that cruise. All of us in the audience had a big laugh at that announcement and I said after the show, I would gladly give you a lift if you would sing with us during the ride back to town. We both chuckled, you passed on the offer, and I shook you hand to say thank you for being who you are. You were the icing on the cake for us during that cruise, as you were on a previous cruise. We have managed to see you two times, both on the Sovereign, and look forward to seeing you again! But, the reason I wanted to e-mail you today was because of the sad news of Levi Stubbs passing. Like your group The Drifters, Levi Stubbs and The Four Tops made growing up in the sixties and seventies a special time for all of us on BOTH sides of the racial-line. Music has always been a way for people to unite, and unite we did. When I heard the news moments ago, I immediately thought of you and the show you do. With Levi's passing, his music, like that of John Lennon will live-on for a whole new generation of Americans and people around the world through YOU. I look forward to sharing your G-d Given talent with my classmates when we do our H.S. reunion on the Monarch next year, if we can convince you and RCCL to switch your itinerary from the Grandeur next October. I pray that G-d continues to bless you and your family, and that our paths (Winter Park or otherwise) will cross again sooner, rather than later. Til that time, be well, and G-d Bless! Johnny We were on Carribbean Princess Aug 25th cruise and enjoyed your both performances. My wife and I are in our 70's got married 1961 and of course remember the Drifters. When we left your first performance there was a piano player in the lounge singing and playing to a sizable crowd UNDER THE BOARD WALK. as my wife stopped to listen I said to her Don't waste your time we just heard the REAL THING By the way I am glad you made mention of George Bensen. 12 years ago while I was working I used to stop at Ballys Fitness in Englewood Cliffs NJ on the way home And Met George in the Whirlpool, as they were doing repairs on his home which, if I recall is in Tenafly NJ . Well we sang Because of You .........there's a song in my heart .. he actually told me that I had a good voice ... I love watching his tapes with Frank Sinatra Anyway good Luck to you Johnny it was a pleasure Hope you enjoyed the cruise Bob Leopold - It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Mr. Thunder I was in the Orlando airport saw you talking to a few people. I didn't know who you were I went to the restroom and on my returning from the restroom you were give one of the airport employees your autograph. So when I wakled by I glanced at your tickrt to get a look at your name Johnny Thunder. It didn't ring a bell so I told my partner he is a singer but I don't know who. So when I got home unpacked, cleaned, and cooked I said let me google him so I did and now I know who Johnny Thunder is. Thanks Keep up the great songs.

Just saw your fantastic show on the Dawn Princess. After the show I asked you about a song by the Drifters call "your more than a number in my little red book". You were not familiar with it. I looked it up and sure enough it was recorded by the drifters later in their popularity. You should check it out, its a great song.

You are absolutely awesome. We were recently aboard the Emerald Princess Ship where you performed. I could have watched you all night. I have just pulled up your web site to see if ever you would be in Charlotte, NC and see that you are only doing ships. What a disappointment because I was hoping you did some land tours so my husband & I could come see you again! I still can't believe your personality and movements at 75 years young. Wow. Keep going Johnny - you are great!
