Johnny, Saw you and your White Lightning Band at the Ramada Inn in Brunswick, Georgia back in 1980 numerous times. Glad to see you are still out there. Hope to see you again in my travels. Do you still sing "Don't Let Go". Was one of my favorites. Good Luck.!!

Johnny, Just wanted to thank you for your kindness again on The Grand Princess last week in getting the C.D.'s to my son Tiger. You have left an everlasting impression on all of us. I hope you get a chance to see our postings on your message board and if you are ever in Atlanta please let us know,we would love to come see you or take you to dinner and show you our Southern Hospitality. Tiger is already trying to get us out of the Beach House in June and come see ya on the Sovreign(you should get commission). Take care and G-d Bless. Brian Greene Motor Classic Cars

It was sure a great pleasure meeting you on the cruise ship Grand Princess. I was in awe of meeting someone who's in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame. You were very gracious to us. My party enjoyed your show very much. My God bless you and keep your energy level always high, and your smile so very contagious.

In a world of Music you can't find common ground with your children with, and Lyrics you don't want to,what a pleasure it was to sit and enjoy your show with my children, and watch my 9 year old Tiger become your biggest fan on the Grand Princess last week. And what a further joy that because of your kindness in coming to meet him and my other children, their opinion was even greater of the Gentleman , than of the performer( that's no easy task)Thank you for all youare and all you have been.YEAAAAAAAA

Mr. Thunder, what a show! I just returned from the Grand Princess Texibbean Cruise and caught your show onboard ship. Man you still can rock! I was just a baby when LoopDeLoo came out, but thanks to my deceased parents, I knew your music and was taken back to a time and place that gave me great joy. The way you worked the crowd on the Grand Princess was incredible, and you even had my boyfriend dancing in the aisles - and he is a very laid back person! Thanks for not only one of the highlights of my cruise, but for the wonderful memories you made me for and many other passengers that night. My best to you and your family. I can't believe you're 74! Keep rockin'!

Dear Johnny; Saw you on Grand Princess the week of 3/3/07 and really enjoyed your show. Also had the priviledge of sitting by you on the bus ride to the airport. It is obvious you very much enjoy entertaining and are still very successful at it. I wish you good health and many birdies!

Mr. Thunder, My boyfriend and I just returned from the 7 day Eastern Carribean Cruise on the Grand Princess out of Galveston, Texas - and I wanted to thank you for your outstanding performance! I was a baby when LoopDeLou came out, but thanks to my deceased parents, I grew up with an appreciation for your music. Thank you for taking me back to a time that gave me great joy! I was amazed to look around the Princess Theater and see EVERYONE dancing in the aisles, including my beau, who is a very laid back man! It is amazing that at 74 you are still rockin'! Keep it up because you continue to bring joy and laughter to many people. I truly hope I am afforded the opportunity to see you perform again one day. My best to you and your family. I'd love to see Johnny Thunder perform. Back when I was in high school a friend gave me an old copy of "I'm Alive" b/w "Verbal Expressions of T.V." I loved it and still do, but no one besides my friend has ever mentioned this lost classic. Thanks for singing it. If I'd been old enough to have heard it on the radio when it was out I would have bought a copy for every one of my friends, but am glad your still out there going strong. If I ever go on a cruise, I'll do my best to schedule it when you are the entertainment.

Hi Johnny- I'm 49, and the earliest memory of my childhood is of my late mother swinging me around when I was around 4 years old while she said, "loop de loop." A few months ago I heard your song, "Loop De Loop" for the first time as an adult on a compilation disc a co-worker in the next cubical was playing, and realized that it was that song that she was singing as she swung me around. It brought me to tears. Thanks for a great memory. Glad to see your still rocking. All the best to you....Joe

Hey Johnny, we really enjoyed your show on The Sovereign Of The Seas! Being from SC, we get to see Bill Pinkney and The Drifters on a regular basis. It was nice to match another face to a voice from the past. You've still got it and would give the Carolina beach groups a run for their money if you ever come this way!..."YEAHHHHHH!!!"
